Hello all, I have been using adsense for about 1 month on several of my websites, I just recently have started to make some actual money with it, 2.50 a day.

That is of course not that impressive, I want to get really good at adsense so I can make money off of it and not have to worry about paying bills as much. I don't need to make 100's of dollars a day although it would be nice

If I could make 25.00 a day I would be happy!

Basically I am going to track my progress here in hopes that you all can shed some light on the subject, and so if I do well you all can do the same!

My first question is this: Is it better to have adsense on your site which is totally related? Like for instance I have a directory at www.totaldmag.com/directory It gets most of the clicks through it and it has several different channels open.

So I thought what I would do is create a site at www.totaldmag.com/digital-cameras/ Then I would buy some signature links here with NP$ and link to it on my front page as well as some of my high pr sites / blogs!

I will have adsense on it in 3 places, each block having a different channel.

Block one: digital cameras
Block two: camera
Block three: camera phone

Then after I have that done I will post back here for your thoughts, I should have it done within the hour! At that point, will you all help me to move onto the next step?

On a site that is totally related you say?
Adsense adjust itself to the content on your site.
So if your site holds content about cameras your Adsense ads will display ads related to cameras.

This is done automatically.

ur doin good imo.. iv had adsense for a couple years now on 1 of my sites, and im lucky to make a dollar a day of it.. althuogh the site i am using it on has little to no content, and the clicks i get have low payouts.
*plans to make new site (content rich) to make more moiney off adsense lol

Well, I know what the largest niche terms are! Does that mean I need to buy a URL with that / those keywords in it? I want to make a few bucks a day off adsense, and I dont mind investing some time and money to get it going. If I can really earn that back.

A specific keyword rich domain is not necessary but good content is - to have relative ads appearing.
If your ads are reluctant to show relevant ads you can try section targetting for better results.

Also keep in mind that the first ad block in your source code will be the one that will give the best earnings.
