I don't think its worth it if you only intend to keep the link up for one month. It woul have been better if you had gone with say a pr5 site that keeps your link up for a year.

It could be worth it, but if its a page that has nothing to do with your site and this PR7 page has loads of spammy links then that will go against you and turn out to be a waste of money.

not at all if the content of the link page is relevant to yours then you get some value, its a site wide link also, did your site listed in search engines? is that site have any PR?

If its a new site, then its waste for now....

I would've rather invested a smaller amount into PR5 site, and if success has incurred from the linking, I would try to find a similar PR7 site and invest a bit more money.

that i ok, not all that bad. a pr7 text link is worth the price! though perhaps a 3 months span would be nice.

you could have managed a pr8 link with that money! or perhaps add a few more $$, as there is a huge difference, in pr7 and 8.

but then, if it brings a lot of traffic, and is related to your site somehow, it is defenitely worth the price!!

yeah, I personally dont think it was a good deal, it sure sounds good and all, but with only 1 month it will certainly not do much IMO

- One month is just too little, 3 months is appropriate because you may not even have a Google PR update in that month so you may get no PR boost.
- If the content of the page is not related, very low PR value.
- If the link Anchor is not related to your page, less value.
- If the links is written in tiny size at the bottom of the page, even less value.
- And almost no traffic as well if it is not interesting to the users there.
