Question how to drive people to advertize on my website?

I would like to ask you on how to get advertizers to advertize on a website. I registered with adbrite, and I have very good stats, but I only have 1 ad running. There other network ads for adbrite, but they are untargetted and usually not very helpful.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/marketing-techniques/246875-how-drive-people-advertize-my-website.html
Here where you can see the stats: http://site.www.adbrite.com/mb/comme...hp?opid=104252

I am also trying to advertize on linkworth.com, and I only have one ad too. Here is the link of the linkworth.com one: http://www.linkworth.com/inventory/w...f=14669&a=2700

I am putting the ads after each first post, and after every 5 posts for adbrite, and on the main page for linkworth. I can change these, if you think it can give me better results.

Let me know what I should do.
$NP will be given to people giving thoughtful ideas.

Thanks,
Aboujouj

Well, I would not advertise on your site because NHL is not my target audience.

I generally advertise on sites with 2,000+ uniques a day and 5c or lower CPC. There are good deals to be had on adbrite .

Maybe you can try lowering your CPC, but with 5c CPC I'd suggest you try pushing some products yourself.

i don't think you're going to get that much interest with less than 200 unique visitors a day. Have you tried google adsense though? You'll get targetted ads that way. You can also try Yahoo Publisher Network.

Can also try using text-link-ads.com or selling text links to webmasters using this message board or digitalpoint.com's.

Try to use affiliate programs instead of selling ad space. Or google adsense for that matter.

You may post quality information on popular forums, and having a link to your site in your signature is a great way to get good traffic to your site. People are interested in your topic, have a good premade opinion about your site because of your quality posts, and are familiar with forums because they saw your link on one. This traffic is very likely to convert. Note that this is very different from going everywhere around posting something like "come visit my site" as your first post.
You can use AdWords and Yahoo! Search Marketing. Post press releases.
