IMHO, this 4-letter domain is much like the more valuable AXQ.com 3-letter corporate domain.
Explanation:
L stands for "Limited" or "Ltd." Thus, this is de facto the 3 letter domain that matches some abbreviated company name AXQ Ltd. or AXQ Limited: AXQL.com. A company whose abbreviated name reads AXQ might be a big one [grin]. And, there are over 15 million companies in the US, yet more in the whole world.
