Promoting an adsense site....

I just posted about this in another thread but I thought the topic was worthy of it's own thread....

I have been thinking about using some of my domains as ad sense sites until I figure out what to do with them.

I was planning on kind of linking all my ad sense sites together and then I was going to do a small adwords campaign to promote one of the ad sense sites just to help get things going....

If I do an adwords campaign will it help get the site indexed faster????

Is it worth it to spend the money on adwords to try to make money with ad sense???

I would also be interested in some tips on ad sense sites.... promotion etc...... Is anyone making money with these artcile filled ad sense sites????????

Thanks...

webmasterlabor.com is an unknown quantity at this point
I'd say turn each domain into a blog and make money with adsense.

Where does the traffic come from?

1) blog and ping
2) blog directory submits
3) directory submits
4) commenting on other blogs
5) Syndicating your RSS feed

A stereotypical AdSense site is not the best way to make bundles of money. Unless you have a great plan and time and money to invest [re: bft]

Buying AdWords does not officially increase your indexing time frame. Quality of content and optimization do.

Playing the seesaw AdWords-Adsense game is painful, and you need to experiment, which can be rather expensive after a few blunders.

Try setting up some real, quality site first, then use these as the basis for the promotion of your article ridden adsense sites.

Making money on "made for adsense" sites is one of those "tall tales" not many folks make money, especially now that there are about 10,000 new ones every day. I see a lot of these crappy sites everyday submited to my directories.

Like someone above stated, spend your time and energy creating a site with good content and eventually you will make money long-term.

I agree. My purpose is to use the many domains I have to make even a small amount of revenue.. Most of these domains are just sitting collecting dust so I figured using them would be better...

Money can be made with some of these sites if they are done correctly. I believe the key is creating content sites that target high paying keywords....

Thanks for the input...
