How should i take payments?

Hello,

Im getting a site made and im trying to find the best way to take payments. The site is www.pokercrowd.co.uk. It is a UK site so a UK payment processor would be preferred.

Im needing to accept credit card payments and some recurring payments. They will mostly be small amounts i dont think there will be any sales over £30.

What would be the best merchant account to get and use? Do they have anti fraud? Do they charge a monthly fee and or a fee per transaction?

I have decided to go with nochex.

No Monthly Fees
2.9% + £0.20 per transaction
Max £100 Transactions (75 waiting period before purchasing again)
£300 for nochex members.

£50 to remove this waiting period and increase transaction amount.

paypal is more popular than nochex, but nochex is uk only, not used them in a few years so can't comment on how they work now.

1, im in the UK so its good, so will all my customers.
2, Paypal i would say is insecure and very unreliable from my past experiences.
3, the fees are less than that of paypal.

i have been using paypal for 4-5 year with no problems
i would add it just incase a few people want to pay by paypal
but if your site is going to be some kind of casino then paypal dont like them

I agree with drifta, paypal is a good working service. It's fast & (in my opinion) reliable!

I use 2checkout and paypal, i recommend 2checkout highly.

Paypal would be great. You can accept USD and it will be turned into Uk money. This is main reason I use paypal. Plus you can get business accounts (I asume) upgrade from personal for free. You can send/recieve $2000 per month. Small taxing fee for spending and recieveing. I still use it

nochex: £1000/week recieve = $6000/month, less fees than paypal, less fees than 2 checkout, i dont need to accept USD i wont have any american customers only UK customers

i think paypal is the best.but no credit card.they cut of some kind of fee of some sort if you recieve money by credit card.
