What I did is I went to clixgalore.com, and joined a ppc program for .08 per click. Then I invested just $2 per site into an awio.com program for popup traffic on the affiliate id from clixgalore..
The traffic started driving in to the site, and I made $200. Im still earning revenue...
Has anyone else done this... Its not agains the TOS as far as I know.
Won't it show up in clixgalore as coming from the popup traffic sites? It might not be spelled out in the TOS, but I think they will suspend your account and not pay you for doing that.
Let me re-phrase what I just said since maybe I was reading what you did wrong. If you're using your affiliate code and making clixgalore think that popups are clicks than they'll suspend your account, if you are just using the popups to bring traffic to your site you shouldn't have a problem.
well... in the merchant program, under this affiliate they have it listed that excpept popups.. And what im doin isnt popups persay, awio.com is a site like sedos parking for there domains, there selling ad space to me

heres an idea... email clixgalre and ask em if its acceptable... im willing to bet its not...
hell if i was the advertiser i would have your account closed
this kinda SHIT ruins it for EVERYONE else in the ppc industry
You're clearly driving untargetted traffic to your affiliate/s and popups/popunder/exit aren't click thrus but just impressions that registers as clicks and these type of marketing isn't allowed.
I don't like to go with sites that I haven't heard good things about. New(ish) sites like chitika I would go with becuase I have heard lots about them. This is the first time that I have hears about those 2 websites.
Ray,
I'm not sure how you thought this would be w/n the terms of service... Sort of like you could take the link code from Adsense or from Yahoo and send folks directly to those links... Or any other PPC program.
You've been MIA from this thread for a while now; care to come back and expound?
