adwords confusion...
i'm kinda confused about adwords... i've started a small campaign for my Van Gogh Art Site

one of my keywords i have

van gogh self portrait i have set at .11cents
after two searches, this keyword appears at 1st position, yet google wants me to up my bid to .40 cents...

why do i have to up my bid if my .11 cent bid gets my site listed at position 1?
