Do I need to submit parked names to search engines?

I've got my names parked at Afternic, Sedo and GoldKey. My question is, once parked, do I then need to submit the URLs to search engines like Google and Yahoo? Or, do the above-mentioned sites do this once you park with them?

I just did some spot checking and some of my sites are listed and some are not. Not sure if it's just timing issues since most of my names are relatively new.

I think once a domain is parked the parking site submits the URLs to the search engines.

I've heard somewhere that search engines sometimes don't index parked sites if they know that's what they are. Any truth to that?

Even after parking I believe that the site will reflect in search engines as earlier, there should be no interference either you park it or not. I have even seen that google is sometimes indexing the expired/banned domain sites and shows its ranking as well.

But what if there is no "as earlier?" Are you assuming a name was previously a site? What if it is a name that was never registered before, gets registered and then parked? Does the parking company submit the site to the Search Engines?

This seems like a very important question and it I'm not sure we're getting to a concrete answer.
