I have never promoted a website with articles before. Now with my new version of top-download.net i have 3 user submitted articles available and i would like to try promoting these.
How do you reccon i should go about promoting my website with these articles?
The World of Warcraft review looks promising to me because it's quite controversial.

If you write your own articles and submit them to a few article sites, you'll get both backlinks and some traffic.
