   | DIG- Domain Investors Group Like the name? I do too. But as with anything else if it were not available, opportunities for other names come up all the time. As a single domain investor I would never have the capital to purchase any truly great names being so late in the game. A pooling of funds however, well that is a different name game altogether. Not only would I have an investment in great names that can be bought $8k $15k $25k+ (perhaps developed for earnings) flipped or held makes no difference, but would never have that opportunity if it weren't for like minded individuals who want to be in on a portfolio with one word premium dot com domains or other valuable ones of the like. Could you own a domain like "retire"? Not ever by yourself for a dot com, but in a pool any name including dot com is possible...definitely! A solid group starting at ten people in this market could be buying names at will. 30+ people the portfolio could be huge. For some it is avenue to the Holy Grail. |
