Sedo Invoice Requests

So I sold a name on sedo this weekend.. ( it has been about 6 months since I made a sale via Sedo.

Anyways after I accepted the price I was told I needed to put together an invoice to send over to the buyer. Is this a new procedure at Sedo? I just have never had to before.....

Thanks Much

Some buyers requesting invoices, some not. Around 20% of my sales at sedo buyers requested them.

yeah, kind of a pain... I just found a quick and dirty invoice template for my open office word clone. Just do a google search for "invoice template" and you'll get a ton of results. Basically, they just want some paper trail that they paid $x amount of dollars and received a domain name. In my opinion, sedo should be sending them invoices, but what do I know. I've never worried about VAT or sales tax or anything... just wrote down the domain I sold and the amount it was for along with my contact info and the info of the buyer.

James,

If you have a gmail account you can easily use Google Apps to create a simple invoice which you can save as a PDF and then upload to Sedo.

VAT is Value Added Tax and doesn't apply to the USA (yet). It's a sales tax.

Since there is no sales tax, just leave it blank.

Be sure to put the total sale price in the Invoice. Don't subtract Sedo's commission.
