| Senior Member | With Plans to Double Their Show Count is the T.R.A.F.F.I.C. Team Tripping Out? Despite the biggest economic downturn since the Great Depression and an already crowded conference calendar these guys are going to DOUBLE the number of shows they run next year. Are they nuts!? | Bodis.com | It will become so saturated that people will stop going completely. All it will take is a few more expensive shows and a bigger downturn in the economy and people will stop going. I have stopped going after 2 shows. Unless you are there to sell domain names, or buy them at the live auction, I don't see the big benefit. Networking can be done through email. That's me I guess. I like to save every penny. |

| NamePros Member | I also think 6 shows is a bit much, but with this deal Rick kicked Moniker out of the picture. I like the idea of having the TRAFFIc conference in different countries, as not all domainers live in the USA.

I also don't see the benefit. Personally, I don't think there's a benefit to me of bidding against Rick Latona at these events. It appears he outsources the actual auctioneering, but still bids on the names himself. At very least it gives the impression that the prices might be jacked-up by someone with a financial interest in the convention. | ||||
