Not here. I did a quick view of here and that category and didn't see anything.

Gonna go read that thread. I am purposely trying to stay away from NP so I can get more work done.

Haha, Namepros is addicting. Make a couple blogs with recycled content from your posts so you can make money off of time spent here

I still haven't heard much back from AFD users.. Hopefully we'll have have a better idea soon about how it compares to existing offerings on the market.

I think it's too early in the game to compare AFD with other parking programs out there. There is still some suspicion as to why Google are doing this and the effects it may have on future traffic to domains that are currently performing well.
I feel that many are trying it out with their domains that are poorly performing at other parking companies just to see if the "Google Connection" will make a difference, without the risk of loosing traffic.

I think most of us are taking a wait and see approach to G-parking.

One thing I worry about is the list G will have of known parked domains. What happens if they trash their program? Will all of those domains automatically get black listed/sandboxed?

Yeah I'm still confused and surprised by Google's move to be honest..

From a liability perspective, would this not put Google at a much greater risk of being sued because it is now very obviously profiting from TM infringing domains? They were profiting before as well of course, however it's hard to shift any blame off themselves if they're monetizing the domains without the help of a third party.

^ I would think so, especially since they have a approval process for every domain. If some TM sensitive domains slip through the cracks they could have a big meatball hanging out there.

I think this is pretty much a beta program for U.S still

Actually I've submited 3 1000000% TM domains and all 3 were accepted

I'm using Google parking and so far it is better than other parking companies. The only problem is that their system is not accepting that many domains (at this point), most get stuck at owner verification process.

Did you change the cName records?
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=545720

if it's stuck in that process for more than 48 hours (to be sure)
that means it's not going to be rejected, but it still can't complete
the rest.
When mine goes that way after I have submitted them,
that's when I change the cName and it approves usually
without having to request "Re-verification of Ownership" - which
is in the drop down menu on the left side in the pending tab.

I am living out of North America. Who knows, when it would be possible to use Google parking program for the rest world?

I been trying hold off.

I don't view this as a good thing at all. If anything the only positive thing I see is getting parking companies to reinvent themselves and do better.

Do tiny bit higher payouts, get parking, cut the middleman out, monopoly things have the industry in a free fall and monopoly things. Then drop the payouts and we will not be thrilled in years to come.

Hope I am wrong. I really do. But this may sound far fetched idea and theory of mine but I guess only time will tell.

Not sure what is worse? Being a domainer in general or a parking company.

Its like wallmart aggressive play into small towns. Low prices, how good it is, hiring is a good thing, low prices are great but guess what. Not much competition in those markets. Sure you will have exceptions to things and talking generally.
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=545720
Again sorry to sound a downer to things and view points. But this worries me a lot. Guess another positive is better templates and I am sure they will show up better being indexed in the future then say a Domainsponsor parked name imo

The Wal-Mart example is a good one.

But just like Wal-Mart where everyone is mad at them at first and then slowly starts shopping there, domainers will also tip-toe into G Parking and then will later stampede......it's an inevitable course of action. We all want to know what they pay.....how the sites will look....etc....
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=545720

This move could mean anything/everything at this point.

I'm trying out a couple of domains. These have good traffic but low CTP with Sedo pro.
So far with G-park I've seen a slight increase in CTP and RPC.

edwardcullenfanclub(.)com

edward-cullen(.)com

The landers look like Domainsponsor from 3 or 4 years ago.
