Previously they used DDirect.DomainAuctionService.com (TucowsAuctions.com redirects there). They appear to have closed that auction service now. In light of this announcement.

Can anyone tell me how to backorder a name at afternic?

I found the one above because I added the keyword to my alerts list so I got a notice that it would be up.

I know there are several tucows names that will be dropping but a search at afternic auction turns up nothing.

Maybe we have to wait until they have actually dropped THEN we can bid?
