Tarkan.com sold for 150.000 USD

I don't know if you have any information about Tarkan the most famous Turkish singer for the last few years. Tarkan is a male name in Turkish and there was a cartoon hero with this name many years ago.

He bought the domain name Tarkan.com for 150.000 USD last month. The website was belonged to another person since 1996 and Tarkan had applied WIPO to transfer the domain name but it was rejected.

As seen there has been no other choice left for him except buying the domain name.

I think if he negotiated it without filing for WIPO, he might get it at a lower price.
