![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | ICANN grows up at last If you wondered what the price would be for a more professionally-run Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), you can see it now in black-and-white figures. The Internet-overseeing organisation has released its proposed budget (available here (PDF)) for 2004-5 and it is almost double taht of last year. Administering the Internet next year will apparently cost $15,834,000 - up $7.56m on last year's budget of $8.27m - or a 91.4 per cent increase. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/industry-news/31594-icann-grows-up-at-last.html Full Story Here: http://www.theregister.co.uk/2004/05...nn_new_budget/ |

Also, 2x more $$ is quite a bit in % wise... I don't think they need to spend that much? | ||||
