Sports Promotions America, owned by James Leavitt of Gilbert and Jeff Baker of Scottsdale, is trying to sell the Web address LeBron.com for $ 535,000. Leavitt said two companies are considering buying the domain name. "It will probably be sold anywhere between tomorrow and a month from now," he said. Leavitt said the domain name was professionally appraised at $ 546,090 after James signed a $90 million endorsement deal with Nike in May while still attending high school in Ohio. The 18-year-old James, who many predict will be as good as Michael Jordan, was the No. 1 pick in last month's NBA draft and will play this year with the Cleveland Cavaliers. Leavitt, 32, and Baker, 28, bought the domain name about eight months ago. |
