![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Filling Niches: The Alternate Road to Riches - New Cover Story at DNJournal.com This weekend marks the 2-year anniversary of my entry into the domain business (with the purchase of a handful of .US domains). I marked the occasion with a new Cover Story at DNJournal.com that is a sequel to the piece I did last May about my rookie year in the business. Year 2 has been quite a ride. I have sold 970 domains in the past 12 months and watched my domain portfolio expand from 475 to over 3,400 domains - all paid for with profits from sales. This story is about the strategy I used to get that done and for the first time I also write about my own background, taking you along the path I followed (all the way from high school through three seperate careers) that wound up bringing me here. I hope you find it an interesting weekend read!

![]() | where's the bottom line in the article? gross sales and gross profits you can reg 3K names for 15K I'd be more impressed if he gave some samples of the larger names he's done 900 sales is nice, but if they are 99% wholesale under 100 buck deals it's a lot of work for nothing imo anyway, dnj is indeed doing some nice traffic as per their alexa since it isn't a forum with high per visit page views, they would likely have a nice little number of uniques each day, but their position is skewed by the users having a high percentage of alexa toolbars ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/industry-news/29787-filling-niches-alternate-road-riches-new.html anyway, the lack of info on big deals gave me the impression the author doesn't do larger deals I know his TOP SALES info is way off since I should be in his info but since I don't release the numbers I'm not there anyway, there's many ways to make it to a 'million bucks' not that such a number is worth anything today you can do tons of little deals or you can do a major deal or a few big deals just my 2 cents on the article 3K dom's a nice number and if he did it mostly from turnover, congrats I feel like that little old lady screaming WHERE'S THE BEEF |
