GoDaddy, Internal pushes prior to 60 days...

Hi

I'm not sure if this is true but I remember seeing/reading something about not being able to push names to other GD accounts before 60 days. Did GD recently change the rules on this?

I know we cant transfer out to other registrars prior to waiting the 60 days but what about internal account pushes?

This might have just been a dream/nightmare of mine not sure lol

Thanks,

Mike

The awful rule they have is you cannot transfer to another registrar withing 60 days of it being PUSHED to another account. So even if the name is 3 years old, you won't be allowed to transfer it out until those 60 days are up.

Yes, but the person you pushed it to probably could not then change registrars for 60 days. There is no restriction on pushing within godaddy/wildwest, but there is transferring away from them.

I personally had it happen to me not when pushing to another account, but when there is a registrant name change. I purchased a name at the sister company wildwestdomains. After was pushed to me AND the registrant name changed, registrar transfer requests were denied for 60 days.
