PayPal now allows payments without account

PayPal has just added a highly desired ability for quicker checkouts,
the PayPal Account Optional feature:

With the PayPal Account Optional feature, your customers who are new to PayPal will no longer be required to create a PayPal account to complete a purchase. The customer will go through an alternate checkout, and will have the option to sign up with PayPal afterward.

This feature is available for Buy Now, Donations, and Shopping Cart buttons, but is not available for Subscription buttons.

But wait, there's more! other huge new PayPal features:

Merchants and sellers may now issue partial refunds.

non-alterable buttons (encrypted code to prevent tampering)

Custom Payment Pages make payment page look like your website

PayPal Germany launched: http://www.paypal.de

Auto-Return (to source webpage after purchase)

Good to hear, but they also made a policy change that will prevent Afternic from being able to use PayPal. Anyone who is an afertnic member probably got an email about it.

Jeanco, be careful how you say/explain that.
Afternic can no longer use PayPal for escrow.
Fees, etc. and their Bazaar can still accept PayPal.
I hope they find another solution soon, they are a worthy service.

why cant you send money from paypal even if you have money in the acc but havent added a cc?

That sounds good, I remember before people were modifying the HTML within a page and then tricking the automated systems. At least that should be fixed now.

It didnt happen to me, but from what I heard.

But many hackers and wrong-doers are just aiming against paypal

So having an account there is a huge risk.
