Reg DN with yahoo: it seem a deal but is it for real?

I have found that Yahoo small business is offering domain registration for merely 2.99$ for 5 years.

I am notshure I am understanding the terms of the offer.
Is it that one only can registrer just one domain name at the following conditions:
1) must be a new Small business customer (start at 8.99/mo)
2) they say that the domain can be transfered to another registrar but the annual fees are still charged for the next five years by yahoo too,
unless to completely cancel the Yahoo SB account ,
but no mention about the sort of the other properties one could own under this account, like the hosting, will these deleted too?
Do it mean that to sell a Domain the choices are : one loose everything or he has to pay the annualy reg fee for 5 years.

Is it like this? Help

Why they are so complicated and unclear?

hehehe, nice!
They would have convinced me to go with them first, that it is not! (I never intended to sign with them, I just tried to contribute to make newbies to be aware before make a wrong choice )

For one side I see that they offer to many non-experts, just common users, the possibility to have a DN and a space for their website without hassles, or very little, but why the hell they have to be so tricky when they could give the same much more honestly? It is not a question, you have answered to that!

I am with wasistdas on this one - yahoo is a good search engine, a good community in general, but for domain related work, be aware!

When registering a domain - use a REAL registrar (ie Godaddy, Netsol..) When looking for a webhost - use a REAL webhost (ie Hostgator, Oxeo..). That's your safest bet to stay out of trouble.
