you mean xn--blabla.tld ? this is called punycode. what you want is your domain displayed in unicode

what browser are you using ?

Firefox will show IDNs in punycode. They need to sort some issues with verisign but eventually they'll show addresses in unicode. By the way, you can type in unicode addresses in firefox.

I.E. 7 and up and all other browsers "fully" support unicode, and will display domains in unicode.

(Correct me if I'm wrong, I did not test IDNs on all browsers)

Opera shows IDNs in unicode as well. Firefox will only show IDN.ccTLD in unicode for now.

tx folks, yes firefox displayed in xn--blabla.tld tis fashion only.
my idn have a Cyrillic alphabet charactor in the middle of a english domain.

i think the browsers displayed the domain name in above fashion to prevent conflicts. i mean fraud (physing or what ever it called) .

no the registration was really successful. since they not shown the domain in the address bar on the expected way, i ask them kindly to cancel the registration. hmm, waiting for the response.

It's not a bug. Firefox has decided to do this to avoid phishing issues.
Firefox users can whitelist the desired tld and it will show the domain in unicode.

I'm pretty confident Firefox will be changing this, soon.

I want to know which language you used in your IDN registration?
If you have the same language in your computer then IDN's will display on the address bar as you compose LOL.
I think its possible to cancel the IDN within 7 days from the registration done.
