You can't get to IDN.IDN (Chinese) without being within China.

I cant get it, why only in China? Is this just some sort of hack by the Chiense gov and not an actual extension? I would think thats the case since IDN extensions were coming next year I thought.

As of right now IDN.IDN in Chinese is within China only since they have it setup differently.

True IDN.IDN is supposed to start with Russian domains next year (hopefully). That will truly be a "bloodshed moment" with people battling trying to get the cream of the crop keywords.

Other languages are also planned to follow. India is extremely interested in getting IDN.IDN in their languages. I can go on and on about the developments within the last 2-3 years, but time to get back to work!

I see the significance of the Chinese government launching an idn.idn.idn is lost of the domaining community as a whole with the post being moved - duh!

You can get the link if you add .cn , but at the moment you can only access the idn.idn in China whereas outside you have to go idn.cn

The extension for the name just launched is in fact Chinesegov.Govaffairs.cn (correct - I think

) - 政务.中国
