Where to register IDN.cn ?

Dynadot- great interface.

All my idn.cn are there except one.

So, I posted this in the .cn discussion thread, but perhaps I can get a response here. For your regular ascii .cn names (if you have any), do you just bite the bullet on renewal time and pay the $15 Dynadot charges? Or, do you know of another place that does cheap .cn renewals?

Also, do you guys see more traffic to your Chinese .cn names or your Chinese .com names? Have any of you compared the same domain in both extensions? I have not tested any idn.cn due to the high reg fee, so I have nothing to compare.

I have a few ascii.cn that I actually transferred to Dynadot because it was cheaper than my other registrars. Keeps them all in one place also- almost

IDNCN.com tend to get more traffic at the moment although the majority of my traffic comes from search engine placement with a few mini sites.

I don't think any of the idn.cn investors are too concerned with traffic at this time. The potential however is enormous and from the recent drop auctions it appears to be the local Chinese extension of choice and prices are rising accordingly. More mid $xxxx sales last night apparently

Cool. Thanks for the response. I hate any extension that tricks us with first year teaser rates and then raised the price on renewals forcing you to choose is it really worth 10 times the original fee (ahem .info). Some names are just worth it, without a doubt.

I will probably stick with Dynadot for renewals, unless someone suggests something better/cheaper.

webnic.cc offers IDN.cn at US$29, English interface, same rate applies to reg and renew.
