I would appreciate comments on the above name. I believe it means "Modeling" Japanese.

I would appreciate if anyone could confirm the exact translation of this name & let me know if this is a good name.

It has Google Trends & about 2,400,000 Google results.

I don't know much about IDN appraisals but translation is exactly same! Did you notice モデリング is also pronounced as モ(Mo) デ(de) リ(li) ン(n) グ(g)? Great development potential if you know about Japanese language.

It may appear to be a nice name; however, I regret to inform you that no one really says モデリング in Japan. You may still find a use for it, but モデル is generally the only term used.

From the Google.co.jp SERP it looks OK, but JP Overture is only 1936. And the .jp is currently not registered. May be worth something to somebody.

This is what's known as transliteration of an English word. This places it into the "brandable" category, and subsequently the risk of TM category.

NOTE that I own a few of these same type of japanese domains myself, e.g. tokyo.com transliterated.

Many times the transliterated word is the correct Japanese word as well.
