ه is an Arabic letter. Not too sure what ـ is exactly, maybe an Arabic dash.

Yes not sure about this one Translation scriipts show it as a letter "e" but as we all know they are frequently wrong.
Others show it as a combinations of the letter H and E in arabic which is a single letter in some other languages.
