Logo (possible flash involved) - how much to offer?

I am putting together a contest to develop a logo for me that will probably include some flash. I am wondering what type of price (prize) would get me some decent responses for what I want.

I basically just want a logo that begins with some animation and resolves to my logo. For example, if the logo included a globe, the globe would spin for a few seconds with some sound effects and then clank into place as a static logo.

I will use the logo for my new website, T-shirts, business cards, etc. I will, of course, need it in many sizes and formats.

Keep in mind I know nothing about flash, so maybe this isn't even the best way to go about getting what I want. I don't even have a website developed yet. For now, I just want the domain to resolve to this logo, centered in the screen and maybe a coming soon sign below. I would need someone to help me do that as I am only beginning to learn HTML.

How much should I offer for this?

I guess I could also just have a logo contest and use the winner's logo to hand over to a flash guy to do the animation of it and post it to my website. That should get me more responses at least as to my logo.

Any suggestions?

I feel that that method would work better. Start just a logo contest for your site (give us the site name, slogan, colours etc) and then give it to a flash guy to animate.

Yes. It will begin this afternoon and run for about a week. I am going to the gym right now for a quick workout and will post it when I get back in a couple hours.
