I need to create a flash intro for 1 of my sites. Whats a good and easy software to use to make the intro??

Like acortez said, use Swish. It's not so hard as Macromedia Flash.

In my opinion Macromedia Flash is far and away the best way to go about constructing your intro. Swish has a "pre-fab" quality to it, because it is, and allows you far less control over the attributes of your animation. Plus, the learning curve on flash is far less steep than most assume. Now you will not only have a killer intro for your site but you will have also expanded your skill set, which is always a good idea.

I still have no idea where to start in flash. I look at macromedia, it roars, I run away.. It's such a complex program, too intimidating for newbies to flash, like myself.

If anyone can give me a website or tell me where and how to start out at learning flash, that would be great

ok this is what im doing i have swish. so what im doing is playing around with it thaqts the only youll learn unless u have guides or someone showing u

macromedia isnt free, so im not sure about swish, but macromedia is the best flash application. go to www.pixel2life.com and take flash macromedia tutorials.

Solid:Snake is right. With action scripts, you can make intros like the matrix's falling numbers.

for quick flash intro you can go to http://www.free-flash-template.com/, there u can use some flash intros and modificate using wordpad, is a easy and cool way

I am the same way only a little different. I will read a couple tutorials then that would be all she wrote. I did that with graphics. Read a few than taught myself.

i would basically read 1-2 tutorials first and then mess wid it and then just say forget it lol..and then come back to it and mess wid n read tutorials untill i get it
