nice startup..! go ahead.. and experiment effects on background and on text both.. always use plain and gradient effects on background if you wist to use image background then use stroke, drop shadow effects on text so it will be more visible

I don't like the font that you have used, I think something bolder would be alot better.

This is the 21st. Century. Unless you are referring to history, I'd change that.
