I bought my girl one of the Wacom Bamboo tablets; I was impressed with them and made the choice after I researched just about everything I could find. They seemed to consistently have good reviews, and it was easy to get going.

I have a Wacom as well and I love it. It did take me awhile to get used to it though, I actually had some trouble using it at first.

I would also Suggest the Wacom Bamboo. One of my friends had the 6x8 version and he loved it. It also depends on the size and the cost you are most comfortable with. You have listed two different sizes with both nearly the same price. BTW, these cost half as much in the USA.
