Theres not a lot of sites like mine so i was trying to attact the dealers and vendors and not the everyday customers or people looking to buy stuff if that makes any since. I'm wanting Dealers and Vendors to add their products to my site. How am i saying that if i just have my URL there? I know theres something wrong with this Banner and that this Banner just is'nt the right Banner for my site. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=529874 The trick is finding the right words and not saying to much and at the same time not saying to little but being able to get the point across to the right people. The size of the banner is the required by the Forums that I have them currently being hosted on. Actually one of them actually requires the banner to be 450x110. The Banner above is 450x100 so this is what i have to work with ATM. Does this make more since to you now? Has anyone Seen my website and the type of site that it is and what I offer? I don't sell anything, I only offer a free service to my visitors to help them to try and find what they are looking for faster in the line of RC Products. Could someone or would someone be willing to possibly help me come up with some ideas i might be able to use to put a banner together to help attract RC Dealers and Vendors? I couldnt even tell you how many Dealers and Vendors i've emailed going thur Google and Yahoo. I just don't understand why they wouldnt want to list their Item. I don't know if they might be affraid of being seen that someone else is selling something else cheaper than they are or what. I always thought that It came down to customer service. If you offer great customer service. Your customers are going to be there. If you offer Low Prices and Crappy Customer Service, Thats why we have a Ratings Features. Maybe they're affraid of that,.. Who know. Even if they only listed a few items, just to get the extra Customer Traffic to their would be better than nothing i would think. IDK! I have to reboot my pc,... RCPW. | ||||

If i could put everything on one single sized long banner i could probably put everything i have said on that also. {EDITED} My Problem is,... I believe that my Whole Working is wrong on the 1st page of the banner and I still don't understand by what Xavier_3D was saying by when he said that he thought it sounded like a Scam Scheme He hasnt returned to revoice his opinion on that. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=529874 Wording Is The Key... Go to his profile page and click on the link provided to see all his posts. His advice is usually dead on and you can trust is motive. There are many quality members here at NPs that will help other members. Weblord is one of them. A nice clean crisp clear banner with an accent of animation. Nothing over whelming and distracting. You have too much going on here. Less is more ..... Use the same color scheme as your site. I have and will continued to look in to this because this Banner is certainly Not having the Effect that I had hoped it would have had. By the way,... Off the tops of your heads,.. Do you guys or possibly maybe if you guys do Design. And what I'm looking for in a design must be very clear in Attracting RC Dealers, Vendors to Join my site and to Promote their Products plus attracting new Visitors to see those products all in one Banner. And thats the hard part, Coming up with the right Wording as we had talked about above. Last night i went through many of the contest threads a found a couple that it seemed like even though they werent that thrilled with the results of the finally banners they did end up paying. Thats why i want to try and find several people that are already willing to already help me before i start a contest or just if someone is friendly enough to just help me out and do a side job for me on the side or something,... | Jim, I saw your post and well I wanted to give you a hand, perhaps this is more like what you want to place in your page, I gathered all the elements from your site, is more interactive , the colors are alive and the movement is catchy ( it grabs the visitor attention, and the name of the website sits still, never leaving the frame) - the offer for the vendors and dealers is pretty much straight forward, simple - and for the visitors the same .. remember, sometimes less is more ... and with the smaller banner, always use less text and more images to get your point across, it may be more effective, specially in the niche that you are in (RC Models). I /bow to You for Such a Great Banner  which I Could have Never Made and yes,... I Leave you + Karma in So Many Ways, Much more than just Clicking the Karma Button. I Thank You.The Thing is tho,... I Need a Banner to Display on other Sites Not Mine to Attract those Dealers and Vendors. How effective do you feel this banner will work if i were to use it on other sites to try and use it as such? | Hi Jim, Well this banner is designed to do be placed in another sites, if you take a closer look I used your faded gray background, and the blue colors on the site, I used a different font since I could not find one that resemble the one you have, reason being - the elements are important and are from your site, you have to create some sort of attraction to your visitors, and the banner takes some elements from the site, now - I would not recommend using the banner on the site, use it in some other sites - I have a couple of more hours to spare tonight ( Wife is with in laws, traveling) I can hook you up with a kick ass header for your site - ( send me a Private Message with the specs of your current header (logo) and I'll have it done. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=529874 Now, test the banner, the best way to do this is place the banner in RC Forums and get oppinions, just like you did here, it will not only bring your traffic, but also will get you an inside of what people is looking for - Remember use the banner outside your site, if you use it inside it will be repetitive and people may be turned off and click away. Another great way to test it is getting google analitycs in your site, and have one of the banners directed to that system so you can measure how does it work for you ...
