![]() | What logo do you like best? NP$ is involved! I am starting to get more serious on my domaining and I had a logo created for my site. I would love to get some feedback.. ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/graphic-design-flash/518601-what-logo-do-you-like-best.html So how can you help? Pick 1, 2, or 3 and then let me know what you think would go with it. For those who actually give me a heartfelt explanation, I won't turn away from giving you some NP cash for your time. OPTION 1 OPTION 2 OPTION 3 Thank you! |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | My powers of observation may be a bit off, but all three look the same to me. It is a nice looking logo though. It might be just a tad bit too busy for the final site, but I would have to see the site. When I click on your site link I am only seeing the default index. |

![]() | Yes they are all the same, I am trying to figure whether I should go with a dark, clear or off color background or if the scheme looks good. The site isnt there yet because I want it to be centered around the logo scheme |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The links points to one and the same logo: http://i335.photobucket.com/albums/m.../logoblack.jpg but... what I do and what I do not like in my opinion: the star is a little bit unnecessary or could be changed with a better star the text is a little bit hidden behind all objects ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=518601 the 4 "light reflections" are too powerful I really like the text coloring the back arcs dark background is more better than light background, because the used colors will "hide" in a white or transparent background I'm waiting for my np$'s |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | The three tone letters to me scream 1970's (not sure if that was the look you were going for). I would almost like to see the color blend/fade into the next without the set. Or made it a 2 color step. The arc that cover's the "R" in star is a bit distracting, it covers an integral line that defines the "R". The star is a bit big & just ok. The logo is just OK in my book it's lacking that something that makes it POP. Almost needs another color. You can keeps the NP$, best of luck with the site. |

![]() | I think there's a slight problem with using the word domain(s) twice within the logo. Instead of saying Shine Brighter than any Domain - Starpower Domains, I would go with something like, Light up the Internet - Starpower Domains, or along those lines. The artistry is attractive. |

![]() ![]() | first of all, resize your logo to the actual size you're going to use it. ie, I resized it to 120px width (for buttons) and ended with something barely better than a blur. Now, ask yourself a question: what are you selling? what are you trying to stick in surfer's minds? what kind of visual element are you looking for to stick on people? are you selling glowing curves? ????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/showthread.php?t=518601 IMHO, the answer is: 1) domains 2) Starpower domains 3) star, starpower, domains word 4) no this being said, take off all those curves and glows, they don't add anything and causes a lot of "visual noise", specially on resizing. The colors looks good, but I'd go with 2 steps gradient instead of 3. take the "shine brighter.... " wording unless you're using that size for the logo, which I doubt. Thy the star and the words with plain color variations, less 3Dish stuff and see which one looks better at different sizes. And finally, the bullet proof test: convert to grayscale and see how it looks. Adjust it as needed (it needs adjust, I tried it) hope that helps, no NP needed, I don't even know what it is or how to use it, lol

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Hello, all three look the same. Would like to see the site it would go with first but IMO, logo is very busy and overpowers the name. Font looks good and colors are nice. IMO, the big star doesn't seem neccessary and your tag line "shine brighter than any domain" seems excessive. Just "SHINE BRIGHTER" might work good also. I like the ribbons with the points of light (stars) . Try with one ribbon also. Good Luck - Bob |
