What is Vizzed Flash Bash?
Vizzed Flash Bash is a flash game that I have created/directed that's been in development for over 6 months now and is "sorta" a 'Super Smash Bros' clone/remake in Flash except based on the 16 bit gaming era. The graphics are 2D and directly based on the classic retro games from the early 90's. So the characters you play as will function almost identical to how they were in their original games, and the levels, music and sounds are based entirely on the original games. When the game is finished, it'll support 4 players to play online together (in their browser window) and the game will also record all stats, wins, losses, etc.

The game so far has already cost over $1000 to make (I've hired developers to do most of the coding with my own money), and already over 300 hours have been put into the game. Once the game is 50% complete (which is a week from now), it will be suspended until we've reached $1000 in donations.

Current Characters - Mario, Luigi, Sonic, Tails, Mega Man and Wolverine
Current Levels - 2 from Super Mario World (world 1 and castle), 2 from Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (green hill and casino night), 1 from Mega Man (final boss, dr wiley), 1 from X-Men (centinel level)
Future Characters- Pikachu, Donkey Kong, Bowser, Charizard, Snake, Master Chief, Darth Vader, Bomberman, Bonk and characters from various games including Mortal Kombat, Street Fighter, X-Men, etc...
As the game progresses (and upon request), more levels and characters will be added

List of current and future features
-Up to 4 people play online in real time
-Ability to chat while playing online with others
-All scores, stats, wins and losses recorded to a profile
-Battle mode
-Sudden Death
-Adventure mode (future feature)
-Coin Race
-Ability to adjust all options
many many more not listed

If anyone wants to invest in the game, that is also an option
The minimum investment amount is US $100 and this basically means that you get a percentage of any profit made off the game from ads (which will be in the 3 - 4 digits a month in the future). So for each US $100 you invest into the game, you'll get 2.5% profit off the game forever. So if for example, you invested US $200 into the game, you get 5% of whatever profit we get off the game a month, so if the profit in a single month was $2000, you'd get $100 for that month. In my opinion, this is an excellent investment because I expect this game to recieves hundreds (or eventually even thousands) of people a day when it's finished and has been out for a while and with that many people, that's a ton of money to be made from ads.

I will vouch for davideo7, he's a great guy (i worked with him to supply some sounds for this game).

the game itself is very well made and an ingenious idea - online smash play right now sucks (with melee not supporting it and brawl lagging beyong all hope). this will hopefully change all that. plus, since its flash, it no other hardware required.

Thanks for backing me up nasaboy. Yes, thanks goes out to nasaboy for the sound effects and music.

When this game becomes an online multiplayer game, it'll be much better. I also plan to implement an adventure mode which will basically be levels based on mega man, super mario world and sonic which would allow you to play as mario, luigi, mega man, sonic or wolverine thru those levels.

This game will of course be at a more professional level once it's further along development and once all the little bugs/glitches are fixed.

There is a program which lets you use a controller in place of keyboard keys. Not sure what it's called but there are ways of playing this game with a controller.

actually something cool to do with this would be to play this with a wiimote. assuming you have a bluetooth dongle/capability and a wii remote, it shuold be easy.

just connect your wiimote to ur pc via bluetooth and then use the program GlovePie to map the wii buttons to the buttons used in the game. i think you can use the accelerometer in the wiimote to key mapping and i KNOW you can use the IR camera (pointing it at sensor bar) to move the mouse. do a little research, theres a lot of stuff out there telling you how to do this.

i play frets on fire on my pc with my wii gh3 controller XD

The Wiimote would be perfect for this. It's also possible to play this on the Wii itself since the Wii's internet browser supports Flash 7.
