Transition Help

I am making a flash website and i have text inside a box (1 for each page). When the buttons are clicked I want the box to shrink then expand with different text giving the illusion of a card flipping around. The big problem i have got is the shrinking bit! I don't know how to explain it! Because there are so many possible transitions (eg. Home to about, About To home, Contact Us to About, etc) Is there a way of making the current content (whichever page you are on) disappear then the new content appear (depending on what link you clicked) Hopefully you understand!

maybe a simpler way of explaining would simply be how can i make a trasition when i use the gotoandplay function
