I just checked Getty images and they at most are "royalty-free" but you still have to pay a one time fee.

For example, they wanted $95.00 for a pic of a carpenter ant !

You can find copy right free images and textures at imageafter. It is a large online free photo collection.

DeviantART.com has tons of nice ones, just make sure you read wether they are copyrighted or not.

This is a good site, but you have to watch for objects, logos, designs included in the photos that might have been trademarked.
