Flash?

Hi
I have been doing web/graphic design for 1 year.

I want to start using flash but i have no idea where to start.
ie: what to purchase, how to use it, and how to incorperate it into my HTML.

If you could give me pointers or lonks it would be great appreciated, thank you.

lol, i dont reccomend flashkit, odd syntax, get mx 2004, buy Moock's guide to actionscript at amazon, do the mx tutorials, find a strictly flash forum, sometimes they help if you have a big question, i used www.flashmxfiles.com

So all i do?

<embed src="flashnamehere.swf" width="148" height="189"></embed>

All i do is include that into the html, but how do i make the flash work with the html? Like incorpearte it etc..?

But before that, i need a VERY simple site that just explains to me how to use flash, i've NEVER used it before... that flashkit site is WAY to busy for me.

Yeah, FlashKit is somewhat packed with useless information now (it's still a great resource if you can get around to finding what you're looking for). Like e39m5 said, try ASDG (2nd) or take a look at Flash to the Core (my recommendation). If you do get confused, come back to WDT and we can probably help you out.

Don't want to hurt your feeling, but you better learn to use a graphics editor first.

Just one of the 121 X 121 thumbnails on this page is 35,554 (1/4 of a meg of just thumbnails) -
