Use tables with a the same background colors for most of it. Throw out most of the gifs.

Isn't that setting for JPG-JPEGs only?

Smile

First of all, you should set your image to 72 resolution for the graphic, you should save it as JPG or jpeg in other words. Lessen the size, set it by pixel example 300 pixel by 200 pixel.

I just dunno if that is a photo or a background but if that is a background, you should resize it to 50pixel by 50 pixel.

If that is an image, like a photo, you can set the size to like 378 pixel - width (the height will automatically set when you go to Imagesize, then save it as jpeg, when you save it, set it in (5) -medium. View this link and check the property: http://www.cubepixels.net/joyville/images/rjproject.jpg

That way it will not be too heavy. If you still have more questions PM me.

if BG is only one color, you can use HTML to do that, and throw out those background images, they take up a lot.

Yeah, set the background to one color, that way its downloading time would be easy. The bgcolor for the HTML is the lightest way to do it.

imageready psd

ok here i go. I opened my psd template and edited it. switched over to imageready done slices to my best knowledge. went to html editor. ok in imageready, i saved all slices and my index page looks great, but i want to design more pages in IMR for a complete web site, and when i save the images they r just overiting my first images...................is there another way to do this? Thanks

another thing, is it acceptable to do text in IMgready or shouyld i just do all text in html? if i do it that way i need to save as no image, right?
