flash 8 displaying jagged text..?
i'm having a problem with my flash 8...the text that i've created on the stage looks very smooth..but when i view my swf, the letters look jagged and wacked out?...is there anything i can change in my preferences or an extension i can download to fix this?

Have you got the text set to anti-alias for readability? That should help keep the text smooth and readable. Setting it to bitmap will normally make the text jagged. Also if the text you are using is not a standard font you will need to embed the font to the swf file.

All these settings can be found by selecting your text and looking at the preferences menu.

the only options i have under preferences>text are: font mapping default, right to left text flow, no kerning and input method (korean/japanese)...
how would i go about embedding the font to the swf file?

problem solved!
every individual text items placed on the stage static/dynamic/input must be anti-aliased and embeded using the properties panel. for more info visit this website:
