I have a problem in Flash. Help needed!

I am currently working on the design for a website. I want to make things lighter so, I figured out that using a textField for the text to appear would solve the problem.

Now that the design was done, the rest of the text will not appear because I am using this character: &.

Well, first of all I placed all my text in notepad then I load it in the textField in flash 5. I tried putting "&" and '&'. However on the " or the ' will appear when I test the movie. So, I went using & # 3 8 ; perhaps using plain html will do but still, the character & is still there, that will not appear on the the swf file.

Yeah I know I can just use the word "and" but the company name uses "&."

If there's only a way I can set this character visible on the front end. I just encountered this so, I hope you guys can extend a help.

Try checking the render as HTML box (or unchecking if you have it checked) in the properties panel, hope this helps That said a text box I am sure adds more strain on the file, better to break apart your final text into a vector shape and not have it as a font, then it is like a basic raw image.

Warm Wishes,
