Photoshop plugins - how to load them?


Hi,

how do I load or set-up photoshop plugins and filters if theydo not come with an loading program? I got a lot of plugins from a magazine's companion cd, which are .8bf... how do I set them up?

Install or copy the 8bf files into the "Plugins" or "Plug-ins" sub folder inside the (Adobe) Photoshop/Illustrator/ImageReady folder (usually it's inside Program Files: C:\Program Files\Adobe\Photoshop 7.0\Plug-Ins ).

After restarting the application, you will find them in the Filter menu.

Thanks nicholas. but I was using Mac. Nvrmind, I've placed my plugins in to the directory and its ok now... Thank you again!!

Well different directory/folder structure, that, but yes the principle's the same... targeting the plugins directory.
