Fuzzy gif's?

Hi,

Each time that I make a graphic on Paint Shop Pro and save it as a 'Compu server graphic exchange' (something like that, also known as Gif) it looses it's quality and becomes all fuzzy. This even happens when images have no more then 5 colors...

Any ideas?
Is it because of PSP?
Should I get Photoshop instead?
What are other web safe formats?

Thanks,

Jamie

Hmm... know idea why the images would be all fuzzy, never used PSP myself, I use Photo Shop for all my graphics. Did you try saving the file as a JPEG, not sure if that would help or make it worse.

Got an example to show the fuzzy pics

I'd just use a jpg, they're always higher quality than gifs.

Yes try saving as a jpg. Try to save at a higher resolution also.
