Watermarks- how to make them or what they are used for or what are you trying to ask?

I noramally will have a watermark in Illustrator or Photoshop, and change the opacity to like 10% or something very light to wear you can barely see it.

Is that what you wanted to know???

Get a $20(i think) hold it up to a light. See the the face of ben. franklin? that is a watermark. It prevends counterfitting. People do this on websites to prevend theft of work. I make watermarks by typing whatever text i want in photoshop, then changing the transparency to about 10. (or anything really light)

if you are still unsure, go to my site, go to the templates section, click on one image, and you will see some light text (fallout then my symbol), that is a watermark.

peace.
