Less Traffic for Site at Google Page 1 #5

I have some websites and they got position at 1st page google.
But I doh't get many traffic for them..
I have put some article at article directories.. and do social bookmarking at 100 social bookmarking..
(but all of I do.. I ask someone to do that)

What I have to do to get many traffic and many clicks to my site and my ads?

Try to improve your site's ranking from 5th place to 1st place.

Keep providing useful/quality content/services in your site: this will help your site to attract some quality/relevant backlinks which will help your site to improve ranking.

Maybe those keywords or phrases don't get searched a lot ? Check those ketywords in Google Adword keywords tool and see their avg, traffic stats.

If the search term does not get much traffic, you will not much traffic even at #1 spot.

Try to rank better for higher searched terms and you should get more traffic.

Also, check your site/page description, is it enticing enough for people to click through?

And which the best tools that have to use to know the competitor?
