Is it ok to placed adsense unit in footer?

I wonder if its ok to place adsense unit in footer and what type of ad unit works in that area? Coz I have no idea in what ad units I need to place in it ??

If you show us the site where you want to out an ad in the footer, then we may give a better answer.

This is where I am planning to place my adsense Celebrity Star Talk and Fashion in footer area but I wonder if its ok since I am really new in adsense I just started using adsense this month
