Do you get money for Impressions??

If say you get 10,000 impressions and no clicks will you earn anything from adsense or you just get paid when clicks happen...

I have a bad result with adsense .. hardly earning anything from there... and i am not sure where else to go....

Also how do you get image ads related to your keywords??? does it link to your site automatically???

Plz advice...

There are few ads which pay you for impressions but there aren't many of those.. I only get few cents for impressions and very rarely.

Example if i had 10000 impressions and no clicks hUUUUUUUUUUUUm. the problem could be a number of things
1) Where is you traffic coming from. EX. Coming from china and your ads are in english chances are not to many conversions.
2) are your ads relivant.. EX. Domain name is related to wine,, and your ads are pointing to jobs.
3) You have to understand what people are looking for when they come onto your site.
4) If i where you, get into a PPC company like domainsponser.. park the name there for a month or so. then go back and take a look at the keywords that people go to. Then after that you will know what peolpe are looking for and you target your ads accordingly.

How do i solve this problem... ??
my ads are related to other stuff whereas my site is about something else... the site has enough content in it as well...

If google unable to crawl your site content properly, they couldn't find possible ads to be shown at your site, and simply put a public service ads.
