Thousands of views - Zero clciks?

Anyone got any insight? I'm getting thousands of impressions and views etc but zero clicks. Ads are placed well under each topic like here at npros.

thanks.

Well first of all you really get some low clicks on a forum if you are talking about your forum in signature .. Members daily login to the forum but click on ads just once in a blue moon so that must be the main problem with your adsense too

If you get lot of return traffic probably they must have gotten ad blind. Also your link ad set is not visible much. In a forum sometimes making ads stand out from the page works better than blend them in.

I am not to sure on how google counts a "view" but if I go to your site 30 times a day view 5 different threads that is a minimum of 150 views and you times that by 30 members you got 4500 views and no clicks. I can see that happening all the time. Even if you are getting SE traffic if it isn't something they are interested in they wont click. Just keep on getting traffic and it will start to fall in place!

GOOD LUCK

Ad placement is key too... on a forum with bad ad placement I get about 1,500 views before I get one click. Also its a forum so there will be lots of pageviews for one user.... just depends on the site!

From what I've heard from most of the forum owners that I know, Adsense is not the best method of monetizing a forum. You may want to try text ads of affiliate networks or programs related to your forum's topic. From a quick glance at your signature, I would try perhaps a ticket seller program or gear related to the hill climbing events and see if you do better with that.

We simply cannot expect forumers to click on adsense, expecially if he/she is also an adsense publisher.
