Is google ok with traffic exchange programs?

Hi,

Just need some help on figuring this out -

Is it ok if i join a traffic exchange program such as http://www.125exchange.com and http://www.spottt.com

Does Google have problems with the publisher joining these types of program?

i am not sure if i remember correctly but i think it did not allow this?

But can anyone tell me ? if i'm right or wrong

lol, weblord i'm not talking about "Encouraging Clicks", i was wondering about the traffic exchange programs such as http://www.spottt.com (which was created by Alexa / AdBrite Team).

I wasn't sure if i could use it with Google Adsense - i removed it from blog but i have been coming across some blogs that have both Spottt.com and Google Adsense running together...

You can use traffic exchange programs or Banner exchange programs or anything like that. Its against their TOS and only would lead to get banned. If you are lucky they might send you a warning or they would simply disable your account. So its not worth risking it.

Exchanging links with other related sites will also bring traffic. I guess thats the only safe way for adsense.

Yes stay away from traffic exchanges unless you are not planning on using adsense. try to keep your ads/websites to PPC traffic and organic search engine traffic you will save yourself a lot of headaches! Traffic will come if you update often and have unique traffic
