Mine was approx $5 long long time ago .. Well its better if you blend your ads perfectly according to your theme and then place them near your posts and somewhere at the top

Mine was something 4.xx usd but a while ago. I don't blend ads too much. I prefer make them stand out.

I am new to Adsense - only one month using them, for a few dozen domains, in order to test what it can bring.

Yesterday, I was surprised to see that a single click on an Adsense ad on one of my domains was worth $2.33 - a domain with low traffic, about ten visitors a day. There was another one at $2.42 last week on another domain. Obviously, this is not representative: most clicks on my other domains are worth between 1 cent and 10 cents - well, you probably all know that story better than I do!

Cancer Survivorship Breast Cancer
Gotten a few at $10+

Putting them above the fold, near content, and blended usually converts the best. People generally think they are going to be brought to another part of the site this way.

Wow! You guys got some good ones. How about this---do you occasionally get a .01, but no click registers? I've gotten it more than once. Anyone know anything about that? Thanks.

Today, on a website with very little traffic (at most a few visitors a day - not one of the websites below), I got an Adsense click generating a $7.89 revenue. It was hard for me to believe it. I had started to wonder if the time invested in putting Adsense ads was worth the effort... if I get many more like that, I will start to believe it can be! But let's see: maybe it will never happen again!

Adsense pay us based what was offered by their Adwords clients. It based on keywords of your site. Some legal or professional clients would not hesitate to pay higher to promote their products/services.
