And can they been used by Australia Publishers and Non-Americans Yet?

Cheers

But do you have to be American to use it, or can you be from any country... and can you still use 3 link units, 3 normal ads, 2 search boxes and 1 youtube video with the ad?

Our offices are based in Canada and the US, and we run Adsense video ads on sites being served primarily on US servers, but somes with static content edge delivery from servers outside North America...

The videos complement the text ads relatively well, and we've seen reasonably nice EPC numbers ... nothing spectacular. If the video box fits in well, it's certainly worth running a trial campaign on your site for a couple of months.

Cystic Fibrosis Diabetes Breast Cancer Save a Life
I use one at the top of http://dav3.tv
and have had some success with it
No more than with a Normal Video Unit Plus Regular Ads
But the Videos Units are easy to use and Look Good
And Billy , Yes Aussies and other Non-US visitors can see/use the Units
Yes you can use it with other Google Ad units, but WHOA
Hopefully not with all those you list
Not every site has to have all the ad units Google allows.

From something they sent out today:
????: NamePros.com http://www.namepros.com/google-adsense/496972-adsense-video-unit-ads.html

We've heard your feedback about the availability of video units, so
we've expanded the languages and geographies where they're supported.

We've added French, German, and Spanish to our list of supported
languages, and also Brazil, Germany, India, and Mexico to the list of
supported countries. To help you determine whether you'll be able to
use video units, consider these two questions:

- Do you have an English, French, German, Japanese, or Spanish-language
AdSense account?

- Are you located in one of the following countries?
Australia, Brazil,
Canada, France, India, Ireland, Italy, Germany, Japan, Mexico,
Netherlands, New Zealand, Poland, Spain, United Kingdom, United
StatesIf you answered 'yes' to both questions, then video units are
available to you. Sign in to your AdSense account and visit your
AdSense Setup tab to get started. After linking your YouTube and
AdSense accounts, you'll be able to customize and embed the video
player into your website, and choose between having videos
automatically targeted to your content or manually selecting content
categories and content providers. Companion and text overlay ads will
appear with your videos, and you'll generate earnings for valid clicks
and impressions on those ads.You can find more information about video
units in our Help Center, and as always, please feel free to leave us a
comment with your video unit feedback. We'll be sure to keep you posted
if video units become available in any additional countries or
languages.

How are those adsense video ads doing at the moment?

If you use them, is it better to put them near the top or near the bottom of your page?

I wanted to use them as some of the video's I watched provide usefull content for visitors, but I also like to know about ctr and ppc.

Does it make a lot of difference whether you customize the content of the video's or can you just leave it up to google to come up with the right video's for your sites.
I just tried some an to start they looked very irrelevant to the content of the site, will this change within a 1-2 weeks or so?

Never try it. I'm just afraid it may slow down connection/downloading to my site.
